In This Episode, We…

– Start with dramatic reading by Richie in lieu of his absence from this episode.
– Talk about what we’ve been playing, which includes Avernum: Escape From the Pit, Mass Effect 3, Shoot Many Robots and Red Dead Redemption.
– Discuss GAME, because how could we not, really?
– Get historial with our discussion of the announcement of Assassin’s Creed 3, and whether we think the move to revolutionary America will make or break the series.
– Go under the sea with news that the Bioshock Movie Director has quit, and whether it’s a game that needs an adaptation anyway.
– Prove we can do one better than Hollywood by pitching our own videogame to movie adaptations.
– Review Metacritic in the wake of the news that Obsidian missed out on a bonus for New Vegas after failing to get 85 on Metacritic… they got 84.
– Retake retaking Mass Effect 3 in the wake of the Doctors’ announcement that Bioware will expand the ending (not change it) in the wake of fan backlash.
– End the show on our recommendations of the week.

Thanks once again for listening, and we hope you enjoy! We’ll be back soon for more unmissable podcasting gold!

Life’s A Game Series 4 Episode 3

Life’s A Game Series 4 Episode 3 – 18th November 2011 – Click this link and then download when prompted.

It’s dangerous to go alone, take this Life’s A Game Radio Show!

Careening onto the path of finality, the last series of Life’s A Game takes a stop at episode three, and boy do we have a show for you!
After all, where else can you hear me witter on about Saints Row the Third, discuss Ubisoft’s development skills with Assassin’s Creed, somehow manage to self promote during a segment on Xbox Live’s 10th Anniversary and Halo Anniversary’s release, blindly sing the praises of Alan Wake, or gush to ridiculous degrees about the Legend of Zelda series and the release of Skyward Sword?

The selection of music was of a slightly heavier tone overall, but as per usual, the songs are cut out of the final download but are to linked to from here. This week’s playlist included:
For Those About To Rock – August Burns Red
Warning – Skindred
Arlandria – Foo Fighters
Sex Life – Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows
Children of the Elder God – Old Gods of Asgard
You Be Tails, I’ll Be Sonic – A Day To Remember
Why Walk On Water When We’ve Got Boats? – A Day To Remember
2nd Sucks – A Day To Remember
Great Fairy Fountain Theme – Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony (This one doesn’t have a link, sorry!)

Hope you enjoyed the show this week, and remember to tune in next week on wiredradio.co.uk friday at 6pm, or come to this here blog to download it the next day! Huzzah!

P.S: Here’s something I wrote for Ginx TV about Xbox Live turning 10 :)
